Umaabot sa 27,842 indibidwal ang napagkalooban ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) ng libreng medical assistance sa buong bansa, mula Enero hanggang Mayo, 2023, sa ilalim ng kanilang Health Caravan Program.

Bilang bahagi ito ng pagsusumikap ng PRC na magpaabot ng healthcare services sa mga pinaka- vulnerable na sektor at komunidad na nangangailangan.

Ayon sa PRC, ang Health Caravan program ay kinabibilangan ng health consultation, dental at optometry service, health at hygiene promotion, first aid lecture-demonstration, pagbabakuna laban sa tigdas, rubella, polio, at Covid-19, at maging bloodletting at blood typing service.

Sa ilalim ng naturang programa, namamahagi rin umano ang PRC ng mga bitamina, mga over the counter medicines, hot meals at health kits.
