Kinumpirma ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva nitong Linggo ng gabi, Mayo 21, na muli siyang nagpositibo sa Covid-19.
“Can’t believe it, that we got Covid-19 for the 3rd time,” ani Villanueva sa kaniyang social media post.
Ayon kay Villanueva, nagsimula siyang makaramdam ng hindi maganda noong Huwebes, Mayo 18.
“I started not feeling well last Thursday which initially I thought was just because of my knee injury. I took an antigen test today because I started feeling worse with fever-like symptoms and unfortunately, I tested positive,” ani Villanueva.

“Sa Senado at bahay lang po ang activities natin this week, but we got infected again,” dagdag niya.
Nag-isolate na raw muna si Villanueva habang hinihintay ang resulta ng kaniyang RT-PCR test.

Lalahok pa rin naman umano ang senador sa mga pagdinig ng komite at plenaryo ng Senado sa pamamagitan ng online.
“(We) will work from home tomorrow (Monday, May 22). We got three bills for third reading and hopefully we pass the TPB (Trabaho Para sa Bayan bill) tomorrow and other important measures,” saad ni Villanueva sa ulat naman ng MB.
