Ang naturang pusa ay nakilalang si "Penelope" na pasyente sa naturang vet clinic. Matapos ilang mga pagsusuri ay lumalabas na may Feline Infectious Peritonitis (effusive form) at FIV disease ang pusa, na maihahalintulad umano sa Covid-19 at Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome o AIDS.
"This is our beloved patient Penelope. She was brought in the clinic few weeks ago lethargic, inappetent, panting, and with recurrent fever. After series of laboratory tests, Penelope was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (effusive form) and FIV disease, 2 non-treatable disease but can be slowed down and may prolong the patient's life."
"The good news, she is currently under medication of GS-441524, a drug that may treat and improve her health status. However, Penelope's treatment is expensive, thus the owner can not afford it alone."

Sa panayam ng Balita sa kaniya, sinabi niyang inadopt niya si Penelope sa orihinal nitong pet owner dahil hindi na nito kaya ang mga gastusin para sa kaniya matapos mawalan ng trabaho, sa kasagsagan ng pandemya.
