Ito ang pahayag ni dating Senador Kiko Pangilinan matapos niyang ikuwento na may nakadaupang-palad siyang tagasuporta na umiyak umano at sinabing binoto siya at si dating Vice President Leni Robredo noong nakaraang eleksyon.
“Yesterday in Army Navy, Alabang I met a young girl who told me she voted for me& leni, asked for a photo& broke down& cried,” kuwento ni Pangilinan sa kaniyang social media post nitong Martes, Marso 28.
“I told her we’re definitely not done yet, that I will continue to fight for her&her generation &that we will never give up the fight for a better future for her, for our children,” dagdag niya.

Matatandaang magka-tandem sina Robredo, na tumakbo bilang Pangulo, at Pangilinan, na tumakbo naman bilang Bise Presidente, sa eleksyon noong Mayo 2022, kung kailan nanalo si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos at Vice President Sara Duterte.
