“There is a need to provide women with the flexibility and support they need to manage their reproductive health without the fear of negative consequences such as losing pay, falling behind in work, or facing disciplinary action. Thus, the immediate passage of this bill is earnestly being sought,” saad ni Brosas.

"Maternity leave, paternity leave and now, menstrual leave - all with pay. Next time, a legislative measure will be filed mandating menopause and andropause allowances to increase the testosterone levels of workers," anang senador.

"No uterus no comment. Ang sarap ng buhay ng mga lalaki. Walang monthly pain and hindi kumakarga ng bata for nine months. Pero ang mga babae, despite experiencing all these, are still highly discriminated lalo na sa workforce. Akala nyo ata walk in the park ang mga to para samin."

"Try experiencing this pain monthly, add all the other symptoms na na-eexperience rin ng mga babae kapag monthly visit nila, like migraine, body aches, dizziness, high / low body temp, fatigue, mood swings etc, then let’s talk."

"Honestly sir, ok lang naman siguro 'yong two-day menstrual leave.. since lalaki ka po di mo po alam ang pakiramdam ng namimilipit sa sakit habang nagtatrabaho… may choice not to work if you are not well, since ayaw mabawasan ang sahod, pipilitin na magtrabaho…"

"Well, it's about time coz' period pain really exists. It's not a bad thing to increase the things women get to have when working. Some countries already have that law. The latter on the other hand is impossible until it's inevitable."

"Laws are filed on behalf of groups that are disadvantaged. As a former legislator, you should know that.

"Not pro or anti, but I'll tell you this, technology like AI or ChatGPT will soon replace millions of jobs. Of course, di pwede palitan lahat. But these robots don't need leaves, bonuses, or 13th month pay. If you think these laws favor women in the workforce, think again."

"Passing this bill can be a double-edged sword. Women can get extra leaves acknowledging that menstruation can be uncomfortable and painful. But this might trigger employers to limit opportunities for women."

"I'm a woman process engr. & I'm not agreeing on this bill because our work nature's schedule & contract is dependent. I understand women's concern during periods, no. of workdays shouldn't measure productivity. I think more work flexibility, options and opportunities are better…"

Companies who can afford are able to provide 5 to 30 SL days that are paid.

"A tweeter’s options: If the reply is a contrary opinion - read and understand; if it’s unreasonable - read and ignore; if irrational and vitriolic - mute; if it’s copy paste nonsense - block and make the low-life troll handler create another false account."
