Umakyat ang puwesto ng Philippine women’s football team na Filipinas sa pinakabagong women’s world rankings na inilabas ng FIFA.
Ang Filipinas ay tumalon ng apat na puwesto na mas mataas (mula 53 patungong 49) mula sa mga naunang ranggo na lumabas noong Disyembre pagkatapos makilahok sa Pinatar Cup na ginanap noong isang buwan sa Spain.
"It is a historic achievement that underlines the importance of collaboration between the PFF (Philippine Football Federation), team management and coaching staff, and the dedication, discipline and sacrifice of the players," pagbubunyi ng PFP.
