Ito ang pahayag ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa kaniyang pagkondena sa nangyaring pagpaslang kay Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo sa lungsod ng Pamplona nitong Sabado, Marso 4.
Pinagbabaril umanong kaninang alas-9:36 ng umaga ang gobernador sa harap ng kaniyang bahay habang nakikipag-usap sa ilang benepisyaryo ng 4Ps.

"Authorities must immediately probe this cowardly, evil act and bring the perpetrators to justice and pay for their crime, especially the brains behind it," saad pa niya.
Mariing kinondena rin ng bise presidente ang nangyaring pag-ambush kay Degamo na tinuturing niyang kaibigan.
"His death is a tragedy to the province of Negros Oriental, and I am one with the grieving people of the province, his friends, and his family," ani Duterte.
"I pray for the soul of Gov. Roel, who, more than a political ally, was a dear friend."
