Sinibak ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa kanilang puwesto ang warden at 35 pang tauhan ng detention center ng ahensya sa Taguig.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni BI Spokesperson Dana Sandovalkasunod na rin ng pagkakadiskubre ng mga gadget sa loob ng pasilidad sa ikinasang pagsalakay kamakailan.
“Well of course the responsibility lies on the head of the warden facility. Because if [it's] this massive then definitely there must be something going on. So the head and all the people inside the facility have been replaced, we are replacing them with new employees,” aniya.
Pagdidiin ni Sandoval, maaaring gumamit ng mobile phone ang mga detenido kapag pinahintulutan ng commissioner ng BI.

Gayunman, wala pang pinirmahan si Commissioner Norman Tansingco na kahilingan nagumamit ng gadget.
“The use of gadgets in our warden facility is allowed with the prior approval of the commissioner. So there needs to be authorization from the commissioner first and that's by schedule,” sabi nito.
Nilinaw din nito na isinasailalimna sa deportation proceedings ang apat na Japanese na wanted sa kanilang bansa dahil umano sa pagkakadawit sa krimen.
