Iniutos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. ang pagpapalawig ng suspensyon sa operasyon ng electronic sabong o e-sabong sa bansa.

“There is an urgent need to reiterate the continued suspension of all e-sabong operations nationwide, clarify the scope of existing regulations and direct relevant agencies to pursue aggressive crackdown against illegal e-sabong operations, in accordance with law,” ayon sa Executive Order No. 9 ni Marcos.

Nakapaloob sa kautusan ang suspensyon ng live-streaming ng mga sultada sa loob o labas ng cockfighting arena.

"The EO also suspends online/remote, or off-cockpit wagering/betting on live cockfighting matches and/or activities streamed or broadcast live, regardless of the location of the betting platform," ayon sa Office of the Press Secretary.

Matatandaangnaging kontrobersyal ang e-sabong kaugnay sa pagkawala ng 34 na sabungero nitong nakaraang taon.
