Binuksan na rin ng Philippine Postal Corporation (Post Office) ang sangay nito na matatagpuan sa 3rd Level, Government Service Express (GSE), Rizal Street, Reclamation Area, SM Bacolod City, 6100 Negros Occidental kamakailan.

Ito' bilang bahagi sa patuloy na pagsisikap na mailipat sa mas maginhawang lokasyon ang mga Post Offices sa bansa.

Nabatid na pormal na binuksan ang SM Bacolod Post Office sa pangunguna nina Regional Postal Area 6-Director Donabel Asuncion, Acting Support Service Manager Atty. Stevenson Conlu, Cluster Supervisor Joseph Gido- Pagaran, Postmaster Rinald Rosadia, Ronald Vilches-Cashier at in charge of SM Bacolod Tellering, Mr. George Jadriolin, Mall Manager, SM City Bacolod, Ms. Julia Javellana, Assistant Mall Manager, Van Sombito, Property Manager, Enzo Benedicto, Building Admin Manager, May Castro, Public Relations Manager at Glen Sazon, CRS Manager.

“I would like to thank SM, one of the largest and most extensive over-the-counter one-stop shops for government services in the country, for giving us the opportunity to bring Post Office services closer to the public," ayon kay Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio.

Sinabi ni Fulgencio na naniniwala siya na mas marami pang magagawa ang Post Office upang maghatid ng serbisyong magbibigay ng ginhawa at mga pagbabago sa buhay ng mga Pilipino. Isa na dito ang ang mga government-private sector collaboration na naglalayong mailapit ang serbisyo ng Post Office sa komunidad.

In an effort to digitize and modernize the services of the Philippine Post Office, we launched early this year a new range of innovations to improve the operations and delivery of the country's postal system”, ani Fulgencio. 

Samantala, inihayag ni Regional Postal Area 6 Director Ms. Donabel Asuncion ang iba’t ibang serbisyo na pwedeng mapakinabangan ng mga shoppers at mall-goers upang mabilis at maginhawa silang mag-mail ng sulat at ng domestic at international express mail packages, bumili ng stamps at philatelic products, registered mail, mag-apply ng Postal ID at magpadala ng electronic Postal Money Orders, postal cards, at iba pa.
