Binalaan ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang publiko kaugnay sa gumagalang indibidwal na nagpapanggap na kinatawan ng ahensya upang makapag-solicit.

Pagdidiin ni DepEd Undersecretary for Finance Annalyn Sevilla, wala silang inaatasang indibidwal o grupo upang humingi ng donasyon para sa ahensya.

“Please be informed that the Department of Education (DepEd) and its Executive Committee have not authorized any person or entity to solicit money for whatever purpose,” aniya.

"The Office of the Undersecretary for Finance alerts the public, especially the Finance Strand's internal and external stakeholders, about individuals or entities communicating with them to illegally solicit money, request for contributions, or ask for donations using the name of said office and the undersigned,” sabi ni Sevilla.

Kaugnay nito, nanawagan ang DepEd sa publiko na i-report kaagad saDepEd Public Assistance and Action Center o direkta na sa Office of the Undersecretary for Finance via email na[email protected]ang kahalintulad na insidente upang maaksyunan.

“All concerned are hereby advised to be cautious and not to deal with unscrupulous person/s or entities asking for [a] donation, personal information, or account confirmation using the name of the Office of the Undersecretary for Finance, any DepEd Executive Committee or official, or any DepEd office,” dagdag pa ni Sevilla.
