Posibleng umpisahan na ng Senado sa Pebrero 2023 ang deliberasyon sa isinusulong na Maharlika Wealth Fund (MWF).
Idinahilan ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri nitong Biyernes, hihintayin pa nila ang final version ng Kamara sa nasabing panukala.
Inaasahan ng senador na maipadala sa Senado ang mga naipasang panukalang batas mula sa mababang kapulungan sa Enero 23, 2023.
Pagkatapos aniya nito, isasailalim na ito sa unang pagbasa ng Senado bago ilipat sa apat na komite na kinabibilangan ng committee on banks, financial institutions and currencies na magsisilbing lead panel, committees on government corporations and public enterprises; ways and means; at committee on finance na magsisilbing secondary committee.

"After the referral to the proper committees, it will be now up to the chairmen to schedule the hearings for discussion which could be by middle of February pa. So please ask Sen. Mark Villar what his plan may be as he most possibly will be the lead Chairman to tackle this measure," sabi pa ng senador.
