Nagsanib-puwersa ang Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) at Manila Electric Company (MERALCO), dalawa sa leading power companies sa bansa, para magsagawa ng medical mission para sa mahigit 200 empleyado at kanilang mga dependent sa Cavite Economic Zone (CEZ).
Ang inisyatiba ay bahagi ng Hospital on Wheels ng Cardinal Santos Medical Center at suportado ng Meralco Ecozone Power, One Meralco Foundation, at Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
“COVID-19 remains a threat and we need to keep our guards up by having all the vaccines and medical resources accessible especially to the communities we work with,” ani Meralco Ecozone Power General Manager Obet Galang.
Nagsanib-puwersa ang mga kumpanya at organisasyon upang tugunan ang mga medikal na pangangailangan ng komunidad ng CEZ.

"Nagpapasalamat kami sa AboitizPower at One Meralco Foundation sa pagsuporta sa amin sa layuning ito at pagiging katuwang namin sa pangangalaga sa kalusugan ng mga empleyado ng CEZ," dagdag ni Galang.
Sa naturang misyon, ang mga empleyado ng CEZ ay nag-avail ng mga bakuna laban sa trangkaso at mga medikal na konsultasyon, at lumahok sa isang forum tungkol sa COVID-19, Monkeypox, at dengue. Ang AboitizPower ay nag-donate din ng mga gamot at bakuna.
Ipinunto ni Jose Cabral IV, Cavite Export Zone Investors Association corporate secretary, na ang wellness ng empleyado ay nasa sentro ng kanilang negosyo.
“Much like the machines they handle, their bodies can only take so much strain from the hustle of daily work. We believe that employees who are healthy come to work happier and in turn, are able to perform and engage with their colleagues better,” ibinahagi niya.
Sinabi ni Sandro Aboitiz, AboitizPower senior vice president for commercial operations, na isang karangalan ang bumuo ng synergies sa iba pang sektor dahil pinapayagan nito ang organisasyon na tumulong sa pagtugon sa mga hamon sa lipunan na kadalasang hindi napapansin.
“Our partnership with PEZA, Meralco, and Cardinal Santos Medical Center allows us to create a more significant impact to communities compared with doing these initiatives alone,” aniya.
