“On behalf of our Miss Planet International Organization we are announcing the postponement of our worldwide competition that would be held in Uganda on November 19th, 2022,” anang organisasyon sa isang pahayag sa pamamagitan ng Facebook post.

“We regret to inform that the Finals and Preliminary competitions won’t be held due to the Host Organizers failed to comply and meet the requirements for the realization of the events.”Miss Planet International 2022 moves forward and it will be held in the Kingdom of Cambodia in January 2023.

“We would like to express our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused.”

“I have to apologize, but unfortunately we were robbed. We haven’t had even 10% of activity, nothing was paid, nor our accommodation nor our food. We’re stuck in the Uganda. We have been trying to solve it, even those who were not involved into the pageant paid their own money to keep our fed and safe. I couldn’t be silent anymore. I apologize for everybody who put a lot of effort in us monetary or mentally wise. But this has to be seen by public. Please share. 35 contestants (who hasn’t left yet) were scammed,” saad ng beauty queen mula Czech Republic sa kaniyang Instagram story noong Biyernes, Nobyembre 11.

“Thank you all for your support up until this moment. Unfortunately, the competition has been canceled. But, it was such an honor to have the chance to represent my beautiful Jamaica again,” lahad naman ni Jamaican beauty queen noon ring Biyernes.

“Due to uncertainties by the organizers, I have decided to withdraw Herlene Hipon Budol from the competition despite numerous attempt to fix some pageants debacles. It seems like the Ugandan Government has no initiative to intervene,” saad ni Tolentino.

“We apologize to the supporters, who were rooting for since day one. To the team, sponsors, and designers. Thank you and I am sorry. Thank you to the Filipino community in Uganda for the comfort and well wishes,” dagdag pa niya.

“For me as, MPP National Director, I an very hurt, Not only we lost a crown, lost of money, lost of effort; but lost of time. But we will never lose hope, because we have bright future back home awaits,” aniya. “This is indeed a traumatic experience for all of us, but we fought for it until the end. And that is our mission.”
