Gaganapin sa Nob. 17, ang global convention ay isasakatuparan sa pagsasanib-puwersa ng Columbia University at University of Chicago.
“At a time when democracy is under threat around the world, the promise and potential of the next generation of leaders is more important than ever,” mababasa sa The Obama Foundation website.
“The Forum will bring attention to the biggest challenges democratic institutions face today and showcase democracy in action around the world. We will bring together hundreds of emerging leaders from across Obama Foundation programs, leading experts, and practitioners who are reimagining our institutions and protecting democratic values,” dagdag nito.
Kahanay ni Robredo bilang speaker sina Dean Jelani Cobb ng Columbia Journalism School, award-winning investigative reporter ng The New York Times na si Nikole Hannah-Jones, WE ACT for Environmental Justice Executive Director Peggy Shepard, at technical research manager mula Stanford Internet Observatory na si Renee DiResta, bukod sa maraming iba pa.
