Nasa 21 pang illegal Chinese Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) workers ang ipina-deport ng Department of Justice (DOJ) nitong Miyerkules.
Sa pahayag ng DOJ nitong Huwebes, ang mga nabanggit na illegal worker ay idinagdag sa anim na Chinesena ipinatapon din sa kanilang bansa nitong Oktubre 19.
"The continuous deportation operation is poised to implement the government's policy to crackdown on the illegally operating POGO companies who no longer give any benefit to the government and who instead have been the source of criminal activities," paliwanag ng DOJ.
Kamakailan, nanawagan ang ilang opisyal ng gobyerno na ipatigil na ang operasyon ng offshore gaming sa bansa dahil na rin sa tumataas na krimen na dulot ng mga manggagawa nito.

"Even so, the Department of Justice will not be complacent. We will remain consistent and focused on our aim to end the illegal POGO industry," dagdag pa ng DOJ.
