Binalot ng plastic ang ulo ng umano'y "middleman" sa pagpaslang kay Percival "Percy Lapid" Mabasa, hanggang sa mamatay.
Ito ng lumabas sa awtopsiya ng forensic expert na si Dr. Raquel Fortun at sinabing hindi namatay sa natural na dahilan si Crisanto Villamor, Jr. o Jun Villamor.
Si Fortun ay humarap sa mga mamamahayag nitong Sabado, kasama si Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, upang isapubliko ang resulta ng awtopsiya nito sa labi ni Villamor.
Si Villamor na itinuturo ni self-confessed gunman Joel Escorial na nag-utos na paslangin si Lapid, ay nakakulong sa National Bilibid Prison (NBP) bago ito naiulat na namatay "matapos umanong mawalan ng malay" nitong Oktubre 18.

Iginiit ni Fortun, namatay si Villamor sa asphyxia o hindi nakahingan matapos balutin ng plastic bag ang ulo nito habang nasa maximum security compound.
Namatay si Villamor apat na oras matapos iharap sa publiko si Escorial."The most pertinent findings would be, No. 1, a history of asphyxia by plastic bag suffocation," said Fortun. "No. 2, pulmonary congestion, edema and hemorrhages. No. 3, schistosomiasis of the liver. It's an incidental finding," banggit ni Fortun.
"No. 4, status post-autopsy, [there is] evidence of medical intervention consisting of a needle puncture mark on the dorsal right hand. I saw this on zooming in on the pictures," aniya.
Nakitaan din ni Fortun ng bakas ngmethamphetamine (shabu) ang labi ni Villamor batay na rin saisinagawang preliminary urine toxicology test.
"There is information that he expressed fear for his life shortly before his demise and that he died from suffocation by means of a plastic bag over his head," the doctor said. "The autopsy findings showed no gross morphologic cause of death and this is consistent with the reported asphyxia," ayon sa forensic expert.
"Preliminary urine toxicology showed methamphetamine. Based on available information regarding the circumstances surrounding death, the manner was homicide,"
Kaugnay nito, umapela sa gobyerno si Fortun at sinabing dapat i-improve o magkaroon ng reporma sa sistema sa piitan upang hindi na maulit ang nangyari kay Villamor.
"We do not have a system of death investigation. All inmates dying in custody… should be investigated. We really could have lost this one, if we did not do a semblance of investigation.Look at the findings we've got -- it's not just a matter of how the individual was killed. It's also a health issue… There is a parasitic infection. These people die of communicable diseases in jail. So wouldn't you want to check the jails?" sabi nito.
"We don't want our inmates to be dying. They're supposed to be under state custody, wards of the state. They should not be dying, and they should not be killed like this," pahayag pa ni Fortun.
Nauna nang lumabas sa unang resulta ng autopsy ng National Bureau of Investigation na walang external physical injury sa labi ni Villamor.
Ipinagtanggol naman ni Remulla ang NBI at sinabing walang inconsistencies sa pagitan ng autopsy results ng ahensya at ni Fortun.
Matatandaangnapatay si Lapid matapos barilin habang sakay ng kanyang kotse sa labas ng BF Resort Village sa Las Piñas nitong Oktubre 3.
