Nakaalerto na rin ang Bicol sa inaasahang pagbayo ng bagyong Paeng sa mga susunod na araw, ayon sa Office of the Civil Defense (OCD)-Bicol.
Sinabi ni OCD-Region 5 chief Claudio Yucot na siya ring chairperson ng Office of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC), isinailalim na sa red alert status ang lahat ng kanilang disaster response office nitong Miyerkules.
Pagbibigay-diin naman ni OCD-5 spokesperson Gremil Naz, ang ipinatutupad na alerto ay pinakamataas na level of coordination sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno para sa paghahanda laban sa kalamidad.
"Under the red alert, there will be activation of the response clusters in the region, leading to evacuation for residents living in high-risk areas by the local DRRM councils, communication of weather-related advisories to the community level by the provincial DRRM councils and LDRRMCs," banggit ni Naz.

Inaasahan na rin ni Naz na maglabas ng abiso sa komunidad ang provincial at DRRM councils dahil sa inaasahang pagkawala ng suplay ng kuryente at internet connections.
"All response assets of different clusters must be ready for deployment," sabi pa ng opisyal.
