Matatandaang naunang sinabi ni Senador Jinggoy Estrada na kinokonsidera niyang ipagbawal ang pagpapalabas ng Korean dramas sa Pilipinas.
Dahil masyado na raw tinatangkilik ng mga Pilipino ang mga KDrama at hindi na pinapansin ang mga likhang Pinoy.

"agree Sen Ping.Instead of banning, why not learn from it? KDramas have shorter episodes but full packed and leave the viewers hanging and excited for the next. While Pinoy dramas are very predictable. The screenplays & script are also better in Kdramas. I think series like Maria Clara & Ibarra aired in GMA7 is something learned from that"
