Muling inalala ni dating Vice President at chairperson ngayon ng "Angat Buhay Foundation" na si Atty. Leni Robredo ang pagkakatatag ng "Angat Buhay", anim na taon na ang nakalilipas.
Ayon sa kaniyang tweet nitong Oktubre 10, "Six years ago, on October 10, 2016, we launched Angat Buhay as our flagship anti- poverty program. The first chapter ended when I finished my term at the Office of the Vice President on June 30, 2022."
At noong Hulyo 1, 2022, kasabay sa pagbaba niya sa puwesto, nagpatuloy pa rin ang Angat Buhay bilang "non-government organization" o NGO.
"On July 1, 2022, we launched @angatbuhay_ph as an NGO."

Sa isa pang post, ibinida ni Robredo ang mga nagawa ng NGO sa loob ng tatlong buwan.
"It has been a little over 3 months since the start of Angat Buhay’s new chapter. On the occasion of our 6th Anniversary, we look back on what we’ve achieved since July 1. We look forward to the years ahead with so much more excitement, inspiration, passion, and, above all, hope."
