Inanunsyo ng Girl Scout of the Philippines na magiging Chief Girl Scout nito si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, ayon sa kanilang opisyal na Facebook page noong Oktubre 6, 2022.
Nakipagpulong umano ang national executive committee nito sa Office of the First Lady, Presidential Management Staff Building, sa Malacañang noong Oktubre 6, 2022. Pangunahing layunin ng pulong na ito ang mailatag sa Unang Ginang ang kaniyang mga role sa pagiging Chief Girl Scout.
Pinangunahan ito nina Dr. Cristina Lim-Yuson (GSP National President), kasama sina Mrs. Susan Romualdez-Locsin (International Commissioner and Immediate Past National President), Atty. Eugenia U. Fernandez (Legal Committee Chairperson), Dr. Leonida B. Ortiz (Fund Development Committee Chairperson) together with Mrs. Roselyn B. Davadilla (Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the National Executive Director), Mrs. Ginnie W. Oribiana (Assistant National Executive Director for Program), Mrs. Princess Grachelle D. Ballesteros (Technical Assistant of the Office of the National Executive Director), at Atty. Gift So (Deputy Chief of Presidential Protocol and Protocol Officer to the First Lady, Office of the President).

"The Installation and Investiture Ceremonies of FL LAM as Chief Girl Scout will be held in November 2022 at the Ceremonial Hall of the Malacañang Palace," anila.
