Camp Aquino, Tarlac City -- Nagsasagawa na ngayon ng Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Operations ang mga miyembro Northern Luzon Command matapos ang hagupit ng Super Typhoon "Karding" sa North at Central Luzon nitong Linggo, Setyembre 25.
May kabuuang 14 na Search, Rescue, at Retrieval (SRR) Team ang naka-deploy sa buong northern region habang nasa 272 teams naman ang para sa humanitarian assistance and initiated disaster response operations.
Isang SRR Team ang nagsagawa ng pre-emptive evacuation sa apat na barangay ng Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya habang ang mga tropa mula sa Marine Battalion Landing Team 10 ay nagligtas ng apat na indibidwal na nakatira malapit sa riverbanks ng Sitio Reserba, Brgy, Esteves Aurora.
Samantala, ipamamahagi naman ang mga relief goods sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo sa Nueva Ecija at Aurora.
Catanduanes, niyanig ng magnitude 6.1 na lindol
“All of our Disaster Response Teams will operate round-the-clock to guarantee the security and welfare of everyone affected. In order to expedite the delivery of relief supplies and other essential services to the communities, coordination was made with our partner agencies and various stakeholders,” ani NOLCOM Commander Lt Gen Ernesto Torres Jr..
