Iniutos ng Sandiganbayan na makulong ng hanggang 44 taon si dating North Cotabato 2nd District Rep. Gregorio Ipong kaugnay ng pagkakadawit sa pork barrel fund scam noong 2007.
Ito ay matapos na mapatunayang nagkasala si Ipong sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act (RA) 3019 (Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act) at malversation kaugnay ng pagpapalabas nito ng ₱4.9 milyong pork barrel fund o Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
Napatunayang nagkasala naman sa kasong paglabag sa RA 3019 sina dating Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC) Deputy Director Dennis Cunanan, at dating TLRC chief accountant Marivic Jover.
Dahil dito, ipinag-utos ng hukuman na makulong ng hanggang 10 taon sina Cunanan at Jover na kapwa ring pinagbawalang magtrabaho sa gobyerno

“The evidence on record unequivocally established the elements of manifest partiality, evident bad faith, and, at the very least, gross inexcusable negligence on the part of the accused,” ayon sa 52 pahinang desisyon ng korte.
Bukod dito, pinatawan din ng hukuman ng tig-17 taong pagkakapiit sina Ipong, Cunanan at Jover matapos silang mapatunayang nagkasala sa kasong malversation of public funds.
Pinagbabayaddin sila ng₱4.9 milyon, bukod pa ang tubo na 6 porsyento kada taon.
Nagpalabas naman ng warrant of arrest ang Sandiganbayan laban kinaTLRC Director General Antonio Ortiz at Aaron Foundation Philippines Inc. (AFPI) president Aaron Alfredo Ronquillo nia nakalalaya pa rin sa kasalukuyan.
Katwiran ng korte, binalewala ni Ipong ang mga polisiya ngCommission on Audit (COA) nang pumayag siyang mailabas ang pondo nito upang magamit sa proyekto ngAaron Foundation Philippines Inc. (AFPI) na isang non-governmental organization.
“Indeed, nothing demonstrates manifest partiality and evident bad faith more than the above narrative showing unerringly the cavalier manner by which AFPI was chosen by accused Ipong,” ayon sa korte.
“As a member of the House of Representatives, accused must know that the AFPI should have initially gone through accreditation before being appointed as the implementer of his PDAF-funded project,” paliwanag pa ng Sandiganbayan.
