Nasamsam ng Makati City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ang mahigit P2.7 milyong halaga ng pinaghihinalaang shabu mula sa dalawang high-value na indibidwal sa ikinasang buy-bust operation noong Huwebes, Agosto 25.

Kinilala ng pulisya ang suspek na sina Francedy Jamito, 20, at Dianne Harina, 36.

Ayon sa police report, isinagawa ng SDEU ang buy-bust operation sa Yague St. sa Barangay Tejerosna kung saan nasabat ang P2,720,000 na halaga shabu at drug paraphernalia sa dalawang suspek.

Ang mga narekober na items ay dinala sa Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit para sa confirmatory test habang sina Jamito at Harina ay sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.

Pinuri ni acting police district director Col. Kirby John Kraft ang Makati police sa matagumpay na operasyon.

“This is an active approach in our campaign against illegal drugs. Higher number of police operations would mean that our intelligence gathering is strong. Concerned citizens have been fully and actively cooperating, too,” ani Kraft.

“I hope that this will serve as a warning to those involved in this illegal business that the Southern Metro Police has invigorated its efforts to curb the demand and supply of illegal drugs,” dagdag pa niya.
