Sa halip na ibalik ang Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) sa kolehiyo, mas mainam umanong turuan ang mga bata na mahalin ang PIlipinas, ayon sa tweet ng beteranong aktor na si Jaime Fabregas, o gumanap na "Lolo Delfin" sa magtatapos na longest-running teleseryeng "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano".
"Teach the children to love their country and you won’t need to send them to ROTC! They will defend HER with everything they have!!," ayon sa tweet ni Fabregas noong Agosto 3.

Matatandaang isa sa mga mungkahi noon ni Vice President at Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte na ibalik ang ROTC at CAT sa mga paaralan. Ilang mga mambabatas din ang sumang-ayon dito.
Umani naman ito ng iba't ibang reaksiyon at komento mula sa mga netizen.

Samantala, hindi pa malinaw kung tuluyan na bang ibabalik ang ROTC sa kolehiyo. Ang ipinalit kasi dito ay NSTP o National Service Training Program.
Sa hayskul naman, nawala na rin ang CAT at COCC bagama't naipanatili pa rin ang Kab, Boys at Girls Scouts.
