Suportado ni Senador Grace Poe ang plano ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na muling pag-usapan ang mga kasunduan sa loan agreements ng bansa sa China para sa tatlong big-ticket railway projects na sinimulan ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

“The President’s directive presents an auspicious opportunity to go back to the drawing board and craft deals that are fair and will produce tangible benefits to the Filipino people,” ani Poe nitong Linggo, Hulyo 17.

“Renegotiation should iron out issues that saddled the previous agreements, including interest rates and payment terms,” dagdag pa niya.

Ginawa ng senadora ang pahayag matapos magbaba ng direktiba si PBBM sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).

"The need to boost our infrastructure should not compromise the best interest of our country," ani Poe.

Dagdag pa niya, "It is the Filipino people who will ultimately repay such loans and we must ensure that they are not on the losing end."
