CAMP OLA, Albay – Arestado ang anim na drug suspect habang nagpa-pot session sa isang bahay sa Purok 7, Barangay Luklukan Sur, Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte Martes, Hulyo 12.
Kinilala ni Police Major Malu Calubaquib, tagapagsalita ng Police Regional Office (PRO)-5, ang mga suspek na sina Raymond Ibis, 22; at Zaldy Jamito, 31, kapwa residente ng Barangay Capacuan; Joseph Dasco, 27; at Mark Anthony Obar, 23, kapwa taga-Barangay Sta Rosa Sur; Freddie Rieza, 39, ng Barangay Plaridel, at Josue Sales, 48, ng Barangay Luklukan Norte, pawang tubong Jose Panganiban.
“They were arrested in an anti-drug operation launched by personnel of Jose Panganiban MPS with the help of the barangay officials of said barangay who informed the police with regards the illicit activity of the mentioned individuals,” ani Calubaquib.
Nakuha mula sa mga suspek ang tatlong plastic sachet na may latak na puti na hinihinalang shabu, aluminum foil, at iba pang drug paraphernalia.

Nasa kustodiya na ngayon ng Jose Panganiban Municipal Police Station ang mga suspek at inihahanda na ang mga kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2022 laban sa kanila.
Sinabi ni Police Brig. Si Gen. Mario A. Reyes, hepe ng PRO-5, ay pinuri ang pagsisikap ng Jose Panganiban MPS sa pakikipagtulungan sa publiko sa paglaban sa iligal na droga at kriminalidad.
“We are thankful for the partnership that we were able to establish from the public which had aided us in the fulfillment of our mission. We shall continue the fight against illegal drugs and make sure to create a better and brighter future for the Bicolanos,” saad niya.
