Matapang na sumali sa 'Idol Philippines Season 2' ang singer at social media personality na si Ryssi Avila matapos ang isang taong 'di pagkanta dahil sa mga naging isyu noon kaugnay kina Skusta Clee at Zeinab Harake.
Nang makapasok sa studio, itinanong sa kaniya ni Regine Velasquez, isa sa mga judges, kung bakit siya sumali sa naturang singing competition.
"This gonna be a brand new start since nangyari sa akin last 2020 na nadamay po ako sa isang controversy with the famous social media couple [Skusta Clee at Zeinab Harake]," sey ni Ryssi.
"Nahiya na po ako sobra na humarap sa mga tao kaya sobrang thankful po ako rito sa Idol Philippines na this is my chance na to be back, this is my chance na humarap po ulit sa mga tao para sa talent ko lang po para sa boses ko," dagdag pa niya.

Sa VTR naman, ikinuwento niya kung bakit siya nadawit sa isyu noon sa pagitan nina Skusta at Zeinab at maging sa kaniyang relasyon sa dating niyang nobyo na si Con Felix.
Kuwento ng singer, nahirapan siya sa relationship nila ni Con dahil marami ang bawal at grabe umano ang insecurities at pagseselos nila sa isa't isa.
"Kaya po nung nagbreak kami pumunta po ako kay Skusta. Nakipag-collab po ako sa mga dati kong kaibigan kasi mas gusto ko na pong mag-focus sa sarili ko nun e. Talagang matagal na po kaming magkaibigan, magkakilala since 2015 bago pa lang po siya masyadong sumikat," aniya.
"After po malaman ng mga tao na nandoon po ako kay Skusta, medyo mali rin po yung napost na info-- na kung gaano na po ako katagal doon, na may relationship daw po kami, na inagaw ko po si Skusta. Gumising na lang po ako isang hapon nag-trending na ako kahit wala po talaga akong masamang ginagawa.
"Doon ko po naramdaman yung sobrang pagkawala po ng self-esteem ko, tinigil ko po kumanta for a year," paglalahad pa niya.
Kinanta ni Ryssi ang kantang "Alipin" ng Shamrock at inawit din niya ang kaniyang original song na "Matsala."
"Just because your past was broken doesn't mean your future has to be," sey ni Moira. Binigyan niya si Ryssi ng platinum ticket.
Sa oras na makakuha ng platinum ticket ang contestant, lulusot na ito sa unang round ng kompetisyon at didiresto na sa solo round.
May tig-isang platinum ticket lang ang mga judges sa buong audition.
Samantala, umani naman ng positibong komento mula sa mga netizens ang audition video ni Ryssi.
