Kahit na idineklarang persona non grata sa Quezon City ay umuwi pa rin sa kaniyang bahay sa kinalakhang lungsod si Kapuso Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas, noong Hunyo 15, 2022.
Mula sa Amerika ay umuwi ng Pilipinas si Ai Ai dahil kailangan niya umanong magtungo sa Japan, para sa post-Philippine Independence Day celebration ngayong Linggo, Hunyo 19. Batay sa kaniyang mga TikTok video ay kasalukuyang na sa Land of the Rising Sun na ang komedyana.
Ayon sa panayam ng Philippine Entertainment Portal kay Ai Ai, 10 anyos pa lamang daw siya ay nasa QC na siya nanirahan kaya malabong lumipat siya sa ibang lungsod upang manirahan, kahit pa umakyat pa ito sa korte at magkademandahan.

"Sila na mismo ang nagsabi na pang-foreigner lamang ang persona non grata, hindi pang-Pilipino," ani Ai Ai.
“Hindi ako ang gumawa ng triangle seal na ginamit sa video, kahit magkakorte kami.”
Hindi naman daw naramdaman ni Ai Ai na hindi siya welcome sa QC.
Matatandaang nag-ugat ang pagkakadeklara sa kaniyang persona non grata kasama si VinCentiment director Darryl Yap, ayon sa resolusyon ni outgoing Quezon City District 4 Councilor Ivy Lagman, dahil umano sa pambabastos at paglapastangan sa Quezon City triangular seal, sa lumabas na campaign material para kay mayoral candidate at Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor, na naging epektibo noong Martes, Hunyo 7.

Tumugon naman ang kampo ni Kapuso Comedy Queen sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang abogado.
Today, my client, Ms. AiAi Delas Alas-Sibayan has received information through social media, that a Resolution declaring her persona non grata was approved by the Quezon City council.
“While we are yet to receive a copy of the resolution, it was made clear that the focus was made on the alleged 'malicious and unscrupulous defacing of the official seal of Quezon City' claimed to have appeared on a video posted on the Facebook page of Vincentiments, where my client portrayed a character named 'Ligaya Delmonte'".
“The video which circulated during the campaign period is clearly a satire, a parody. It is not intended to be a statement of fact and is clearly not meant to be taken seriously by the audience.
“The video was obviously intended to be watched and taken as a whole, all elements being fictitious, including the seal behind the character portrayed by my client.
“It is unfortunate that the city council is nitpicking to find basis to curb freedom of expression in the guise of defending a perceived dishonor.
“We strongly condemn this act of the Quezon City council which endangers the protection granted by the freedom of expression for artists, entertainers, content creators, and comedians who use satire or parody to express sentiments or criticize public acts or figures."
“This also endangers their livelihood since it appears to be a form of cancellation making them wary to take on similar works in fear that public officials will retaliate in similar fashion."
“As public officers, the members of the Quezon City council should be more prudent and circumspect in the exercise of their discretion and should not take hasty actions which could adversely affect my client and cause undue anxiety to her family and friends."
“While we believe that the resolution does not physically affect my client, we will be monitoring every statement made against her to ensure that my client’s rights are protected.”

Samantala, nilinaw naman ni Lagman ang sakop ng kaniyang resolusyon kina Delas Alas at Yap. Ayon sa ulat, nais lamang daw ni Lagman na magsagawa ng "sincere public apology" sa mga taga-Quezon City ang dalawa sa kanilang ginawa.
Malaya pa ring makapunta ang dalawa sa kahit na alinmang lugar sa Quezon City dahil ito ay resolusyon lamang at hindi naman sakop ng ordinansa. Wala rin silang kahaharaping penalty o pataw na multa. Ito raw ay "simboliko" lamang na ayaw ng mga taga-QC ang kanilang ginawa sa satire campaign video.
