Aabot sa 95 gramo ng pinaniniwalaang methamphetamine hydrochloride o shabu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱646,000 ang nakumpiska sa isang tricycle driver, sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Parañaque City Police sa lungsod nitong Biyernes, Hunyo 10.
Kinilala ni City Police Chief, Col Maximo Sebastian Jr. ang suspek na si Mogeric Villaluz Bayaoa, alyas Nognog, 42, residente ng Parañaque City.
Sa ulat, nagsagawa ng buy-bust operation ang mga tauhan ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at Sub-Station 4 sa Tramo 1, Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City, dakong 4:30 ng madaling araw na ikinaaresto ni Bayaoa.
Narekober mula sa suspek ang anim na pakete na naglalaman ng 'shabu' at buy-bust money.
Nakapiit sa Parañaque City Police Station Custodial Facility ang suspek na sasampahan ng kasong Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Itinurn-over naman sa SPD Forensic Unit ang mga nasamsam na ebidensiya upang suriin.
“The notable accomplishment is a result of intensified anti-illegal drug operation. I commend the Parañaque City Police for their anti-drug strategy and hard work that led to confiscation of more than half million worth of shabu in just a single operation. The supply chain flow must be stopped in order to prevent illicit drugs from being sold to the users,” sabi SPD Director Brig.Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.
