Itatalaga ni President-elect Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. si Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) President Ben Diokno bilang kalihim ng Department of Finance (DOF) at kasabay na rin ngpagsasapublikosa tatlo pang bagong secretary ng BSP, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

“It would be appropriate to say that I would be nominating our BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) President Ben Diokno for the position of secretary of finance (DOF),” pahayag ni Marcos nang isalang sa Facebook live interview nitong Huwebes.

“He has already agreed, nag-usap kami. He has agreed.His place in BSP will be taken by Philip Medalla who will take on his unexpired term….which in this case is until July,” anito.

“I’ve asked Fred Pascual to head the DTI and he has agreed,” sabi pa nito.

Binanggit din ni Marcos ang isa pang kukuning miyembro kanyang Gabinete na itatalaga naman sa DPWH.

“I’m intending to nominate Manny Bonoan for the Department of Public Works and Highways. He has spent almost his entire professional life in the DPWH, I know him very well, I know he will do a good job,” dugtong ni Marcos.

Inamin naman ni Marcos na marami na siyang natanggap na applications para pamunuan angBureau of Customs (BOC) at Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Aniya, kinabukasan pagkatapos ng kanyang inagurasyon sa Hunyo 30 ay magpapatawag ito ng pagpupulong para mabuo na ang kanyang Gabinete.

"I really want to hit the ground running,” paliwanag pa ni Marcos.
