Nominado ang beteranong abogadong si Victor Reyes na dating tagapagsalita ni presumptive president Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. bilang executive secretary sa susunod na administrasyon.
Ito ang inanunsyo ni Marcos kasunod na rin ng pag-iwan ni Rodriguez sa kanyang puwesto bilang spokesperson upang paghandaan ang bagong trabaho nito.
“Who can say no to President-elect Bongbong Marcos? It is an honor working with him, whom I have known for a very long time and I believe will serve the country efficiently and with unquestioned devotion. It is very flattering to work alongside the best person I’ve known,”ayon sa isang pahayag ni Rodriguez nitong Linggo.
“I thanked President-elect Bongbong Marcos for the trust and confidence. Rest assured that our team will work doubly hard for the success of his six-year presidency,” anito.

Matatandaang hindi iniwan ni Rodriguez si Marcos sa gitna ng mga kontrobersya sa nakaraang election campaign hanggang sa manalo ito sa pagka-pangulo.
Si Rodriguez ay dating deputy general counsel ng Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP).
Naging managing lawyer din ito ngRodriguez & Partners Law Firm, pangulo ng QC Trial Lawyers League, at alumnus University of Santo Tomas.
