“Foremost, I sincerely apologize to VP Leni Robredo for the ruckus that my post has caused. It was an innocent, harmless post taken out of context by some malicious individuals. I take full responsibility if I have offended VP Leni or her supporters with my post,” mababasa sa post ni Bahala sa kanyang pahayag sa Facebook, Sabado.

“Like any overly excited Filipino migrant worker LEGALLY living in New York, I always get excited and highly anticipate meeting famous and influential Filipino personalities when they visit the city,” aniya.

“This is no different from when I met VP Leni in Radio City Music Hall attending her daughter’s graduation. With some fellow Filipinos, I respectfully asked the Vice President for a picture, which she generously obliged. I captioned it based on my current state (that I was sleepy) and based on what I noticed and saw VP Leni doing at that time,” dagdag niya.

Paglilinaw niya, “I am NOT a STALKER. This is a very grave accusation that I do not want myself to be associated with. I highly value privacy in the same manner as I value and protect mine.”

“This vicious cycle of BULLYING and CANCEL CULTURE must stop. There is no progress if we continue to divide ourselves with the COLOR that we so passionately associate with. At the end of the day, we are not RED, or PINK. We are all FILIPINOS. Let us all be UNITED FILIPINOS! 🇵🇭
