Mahigit sa 10milyongPhilippine Identification (PhilID) cards ang naipamahagina sa buong bansa, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Kinumpirma ni PSA Undersecretary Dennis Mapa, National Statistician at Civil Registrar General, aabot na sa 10,548,906 PhilID card o 33.7 porsyentong puntirya ng ahensya ngayong taon ang natanggap na ng mga may-ari.
“PSA recognizes this milestone as an outcome of our collective efforts with partner agencies and the field offices involved in producing and delivering PhilID cards to our registrants nationwide.We are determined to continue to put forth initiatives that will accelerate PhilSys operations across all sectors,” ani Mapa.
Sa ikatlong hakbang aniya ng PSA, gagamitin na ang Philippine Postal Office upang mai-deliver ang mga PhilID cards sanakareshistrongmay-ari ng mga ito.

Inatasan na aniya nila ang kanilang field office na tumulong sa pagdedeliberng PhilID sa mga liblib na lugar sa buong bansa.
“We anticipate for more Filipinos to receive their PhilIDs. Simultaneously, PSA will continue to bring forward PhilSys services to make government and private services easily and conveniently accessible to the public,” ayon naman kay Assistant Secretary Rosalinda Bautista, Deputy National Statistician ng PhilSys Registry Office.
