Dalawa pang bagong mahistrado ang itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Court of Appeals (CA).
Ito ang kinumpirma ng Malacañang nitong Huwebes, Mayo 19 at sinabing kabilang sa ipinuwesto sina Associate Justices John Lee Zurbito at EleuterioLarisma Bathan.
“The Palace congratulates Mr. John Zurbito Lee and Mr. Eleuterio Larisma Bathan on their appointment as Associate Justices of the Court of Appeals,” pahayag ni acting presidential spokesman, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar.
“We wish both Associate Justices all the best, and we are confident that they would dispense justice with fairness, impartiality and integrity,” dagdag pa ni Andanar.

Papalitan ni Lee siAssociate Justice Dorothy Gonzaga na nagbitiw sa puwesto noong Nobyembre 2021.
Si Bathan naman ay hahalili sa posisyon niAssociate Justice Japar Dimaampona nauna nang itinalaga bilang Associate Justice ng Korte Suprema.
