Tanggap na ng Kapamilya actress na si Iza Calzado-Wintle ang pagkatalo ng kaniyang ibinotong mga kandidato. Matatandaang isa siya sa mga artistang sumuporta kina Vice President Leni Robredo at Senador Kiko Pangilinan.
"To accept defeat with dignity and grace and a heart filled with hope is what this election season has taught me," ani Iza sa kaniyang Instagram post noong Linggo, Mayo 15.
"I have the utmost respect for the leaders I voted for after seeing them handle their loss," dagdag pa niya.
Ipinagdarasal din ng aktres ang papasok ng administrasyon ni Bongbong Marcos, Jr.
"I now put my faith in the current elected administration and, with a hopeful heart, I pray for them as they do their duty to lead our country," aniya.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa mga nakilala niya noong kampanya.
"To everyone I met along the way during the campaign, thank you. It was so inspiring to see this awakening of the Filipino spirit. I will treasure it forever. Now, we must stand strong, united for the Motherland. We must push for progress, peace and prosperity as ONE," saad ni Iza.
"Love and Light, Pilipinas. Mabuhay!" pagtatapos nito.
Kasalukuyang nangunguna sa partial at unofficial vote count ng Comelec ang tambalang BBM-Sara at pangalawa naman ang Leni-Kiko tandem.
