Kung ang May 2022 elections ay ginanap noong Sabado, sina Vice President Leni Robredo at Sen. Francis “KiKo” Pangilinan ang panalo sa presidential at vice presidential race, sabi ni Senate Minority Franklin Drilon noong Linggo.
“Kung ang eleksyon ay nangyari kagabi, panalo na kami,” ani Drilon sa mga Senate reporters sa Iloilo City.
“Indeed it was a mammoth rally. The people were very passionate. The passion of those attending, obvious na hindi sila hakot. The last time I saw something like that was in 1986. There is rekindling,” anang senador.
“I have confidence that despite with all the difficulty, the people’s will will be shown and find its way when the people cast their ballots,” sabi ng minority leader.

Sinabi rin ng masugid na oposisyon na walang tigil sa pagsusulong ng tagumpay ng Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.
“Vice President Leni has been consistent and Sen. KiKo Pangilinan is our Vice President until the end,” aniya sa pagtugon sa mga tanong tungkol sa pagsisikap ng ilang tagasuporta na itambal si Robredo sa ibang kandidato sa pagka-bise presidente.
“We will work for the success of the Leni-KiKo tandem,” ani Drilon.
