Nagsalita na Senador Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri tungkol sa umano'y hindi itinaas ni presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos ang kamay ng kanyang ama na si Governor Joe Zubiri, aniya mayroon lamang hindi pagkakaintindihan sa parte ng programa.
Kumalat sa social media kamakailan ang isang video kung saan makikita na hinawakan na ni Gov. Zubiri ang kamay ng presidential aspirant ngunit nagpatuloy pa rin sa pagsasalita si BBM sa naganap na UniTeam grand rally noong Marso 31, 2022 sa Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

Umani ito ng batikos sa mga netizens na nakanuod ng nasabing video.
"The issue on the alleged failure of BBM to raise the hand of my father, incumbent governor and congressional candidate Joe Zubiri, during our joint grand rally in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, on the 31st of March 2022 is part of an adversarial spin, the intention of which is to sow disunity within the UniTeam and our local political party," saad ni Senador Zubiri sa kanyang Facebook post nitong Sabado, Abril 2.
Saad pa ni Zubiri, hindi lamang nagkaintindihan ang kanyang ama at si BBM sa pagkakasunod-sunod ng programa. Aniya, pagkatapos umano magsalita ni BBM iwawagayway nito ang watawat at itataas ang kamay ng mga lokal na partido.
"The truth is it’s just a simple miscommunication between my Father and BBM on the sequence of events, which is that, after BBM speaks, he was supposed to wave the flag and then raise the hand of the local parties. Which he did, after he waved the flag," ani Zubiri.
"Obviously there is a malicious intent to create intrigue by only showing that particular portion of the video and omitting totally the second portion of that sequence of events," dagdag pa niya.
Hindi raw isyu ito sa kanila bagkus ay hindi pa rin sila makapaniwala na halos 100,000 katao ang umano'y pumunta sa naganap na grand rally.
"For us in Bukidnon, it’s not an issue at all and as a matter of fact we are still in disbelief at the amount of people who turned up for that Grand Rally. Close to one hundred thousand people came to listen to the UniTeam candidates," ayon sa mambabatas.
"I believe that should be highlighted and not every little thing that happens on stage. Let’s not make a big thing out of nothing. Peace everyone," dagdag pa niya.
Si Migz Zubiri ay muling tumatakbo bilang senador sa ilalim ng UniTeam slate nina Marcos Jr. at vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte. Habang ang kanyang ama naman ay tumatakbong kongresista sa Bukidnon.
