Inanunsyong Social Security System (SSS) na ibinalik na ang kanilang kampanya laban sa mga employer na hindi naghuhulog ng kontribusyon ng kanilang mga empleyado.
Ipinaliwanag ni SSS president, chief executive officer Michael Regino, simula Abril 1, tuloy na muli ang operasyon ng kanilangRun After Contribution Evaders (RACE) sa Metro Manila.
Sa unang operasyon ng RACE, umabot na agad ng 10 employers ang nabisto ng ahensya na hindi nagbabayad ng kabuuang monthly contributions na aabotsa₱26.26milyon, kabilang na ang₱9.12 milyong past-due contributions at₱17.14 milyong multa.
“These employers were found to be delinquent in the payment of contributions even prior to the pandemic. As a general rule, we have given them 15 calendar days from the date of the SSS’ visit to settle their obligations,” sabi nito.

Nilinaw ng ahensya, obligasyon ng mga employer na ihulog ang nakolektang kontribusyon mula sa kanilang mga empleyado alinsunod na rin sa Republic Act 11199 (Social Security Act of 2018) upang matiyak na mapapakinabangan ito ng mga SSS member.
“This time, we are giving non-compliant employers the option to settle their delinquencies through our Pandemic Relief and Restructuring Programs (PRRPs), which provides more amicable and flexible payment terms,” pahayag pa ni Regino.
Noong Nobyembre 2021, inilunsad ng SSS ang PRRPs upang mapagaan ang pasanin ng mga employer at mga miyembro na naapektuhan ng pandemya ng coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
