Hindi kailangan sa mga estudyante ang vaccination card upang payagang sumali sa pinalawig na face-to-face classes sa bansa.
Ito ang paglilinaw ni Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Briones sa isang Facebook livestream nitong Miyerkules.
Gayunman, ipinaliwanag ni Briones na dapat na magdala ang mga estudyanteng written consent mula sa kanilang mga magulang.
“It is not necessary and we don’t want to deprive children of this opportunity, pero the teachers, we prefer them to be fully vaccinated… or undergo the usual tests to make sure our children will not be exposed,” aniya.

Sinabi naman niDepEd Assistant Secretary Malcolm Garma na sa kabila ng pagsuporta nila sa pediatric vaccination, tumanggi naman ang mga ito na ipilit ito sa dahil sa limitadong suplay ng bakuna.
“We are campaigning of course, but we are not insisting on it,” giit pa ni Garma.
