Sinampahan ng reklamo sa Office of the Ombudsman si National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) Spokesperson Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy kaugnay ng alegasyong kaalyado umano ng Communist Party of the Philippines-National People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) si Vice President Leni Robredo.
Sa reklamo ng mga lider ng mga kabataan, ilang aktibista at concerned citizens, hiniling ng mga ito sa anti-graft agency na panagutin si Badoy sa kasong kriminal at administratibo.
Anila, nilabag umano ang Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act (Republic Act 3019) at Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
Ginamit nilang dahilan sa pagsasampa ng reklamo ang pahayag ni Badoy noong Marso 14 na nagsasabing may ugnayan si Robredo sa CPP-NPA-NDF.

“By utilizing the infrastructure of state media for purposes of influencing the minds of voters vis-a-vis the 9 May 2022 elections, Undersecretary Badoy has besmirched the reputation of her fellow public servant in the process by publicly associating the presidential campaign of Vice President Maria Leonor S. Gerona-Robredo with the Communist Party of the Philippines,” ayon sa reklamo ng mga ito.
“We are collectively shocked at such behavior, which we believe is unbecoming of Undersecretary Badoy’s office. Considering that her actions bear heavily upon discussions in the public sphere regarding the positions and qualifications for office of presidential aspirants, we believe that she should be disciplined for such breach of the public’s trust in a supposedly non-partisan and professional civil service,” bahagi pa ng complaint affidavit ng mga oto.
Kabilang sa naghain ng reklamo sina National Union of Students of the Philippines National President Jandeil Roperos, Youth Act Now Against Tyranny Spokesperson Alicia Lucena, dating former Kabataan Partylist Rep. Raymond Palatino, at Delfin Castro, nakatatandang kapatid ng dating naarestong doktor na si Natividad Castro.
Bukod dito, pinasusupinde rin sa Ombudsman si Badoy hanggang Hunyo 30.
