Nagmistulang food review ang latest Twitter post ni vice presidential candidate Walden Bello nitong Sabado, Marso 19.

Dumalo si Bello sa PiliPinas Debates 2022 na inisponsoran ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) upang suportahan ang kanyang running mate na si presidential aspirant Labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman. 

Bukod sa pagsuporta kay de Guzman, tila hinihintay din niya ang pagkaing ihahain ng COMELEC sa mga bisita nito.

"Now for the long-awaited part of the evening: I try the food," ani Bello sa isang tweet na may kalakip na larawan niya kasama ang pagkain.

Sa hiwalay na tweet, "passable" ang food review ng vice presidential candidate sa pagkain ng COMELEC.

Gayunman, hindi rin niya naiwasang ikumpara ito sa inihaing pagkain sa naganap naSMNI-sponsored Presidential Debate noong Pebrero 15.

"COMELEC food: passable. Definitely better than Quiboloy's microwaved casino food," tweet ni Bello.

Matatandaan na noong Pebrero 16, ibinahagi ng vice presidential sa isang Facebook post ang kanyang karanasan sa naganap ng SMNI Presidential Debate.

Inilarawan niya ang Okada Hotel bilang “unbelievably huge, garish, vulgarly opulent, and monumentally ugly.”

“I was at the hotel to lend support to my hero and running mate, Laban ng Masa presidential candidate Leody de Guzman. It was my first time at the Okada, which is built on reclaimed land at Manila Bay. The hotel is unbelievably huge, garish, vulgarly opulent, and monumentally ugly. There ought to be a law banning the building of such structures on aesthetic grounds,” ani Bello.

Bukod sa napansin niya sa hotel, tila may pasaring din siya sa pagkaing inihain sa mga guests.

“The food was, to be kind, awful, and I have reason to believe it was surplus food from the casinos in the hotel,” dagdag pa niya.

Sa hiwalay pang Facebook post noong Pebrero 18, binigyang-diin niya na microwaved food ang inihain sa Okada.

"But I won’t miss the Okada’s microwaved casino food."
