Mahigit sa 73 porsiyento o 49.7 milyon ng mga opisyal na balota para sa May 2022 elections ang naimprenta na.
Nitong Martes, sinabi ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Marlon Casquejo na 73.7 porsiyento ng mahigit 67 milyon ay naimprenta na noong Marso 15.
“Out of the 13 regions including Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) we already printed 73 percent… 73.7 percent. Almost all are already 100 percent printed except for the National Capital Region (NCR) which we started today. We have remaining ballots in Region 3 which is only 65 percent printed,” aniya sa press briefing sa National Printing Office (NPO) sa Quezon City kung saan nagsagawa ang poll body ng walkthrough sa proseso ng pag-imprenta para sa mga stakeholder.
“According to our procedure, even if it is already printed it will pass through verification process…up to the ballot exit group,” dagdag ni Casquejo, head ng Printing Committee.

Sa proseso aniya ng verification, sa 70 percent, 55 percent lang ang na-verify.
“There’s still around 20 plus percent to be verified,” ani Caquejo.
Tungkol naman sa manual ballots na gagamitin para sa local absentee voting (LAV) at gayundin para sa overseas voting, aniya, 100 percent na ang kumpleto.
“We don’t have a problem anymore for the manual ballots and also for the 63 barangays in North Cotabato in BARMM because they will only vote for national positions,” sabi ni Casquejo.
Nagsimula ang pag-imprenta ng balota noong Enero 20 kasama ang mga manual ballot para sa LAV, na sinundan ng mga manual ballot para sa pagboto sa ibang bansa, at ang automated election system ballotpara sa BARMM.
Nauna nang sinabi ng Comelec na target nitong matapos ang pag-imprenta ng lahat ng opisyal na balota sa Abril 21.
