Nangako si Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson na lumahok sa presidential debates na inorganisa ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) para sa botohan sa Mayo 2022.
Ibinahagi ni Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez ang larawan ng commitment form ni Lacson sa Twitter, Martes.
“Senator Ping Lacson has committed to participate in the #PiliPinasDebates2022: The Turning Point,” aniya.

Ang Comelec ay maglulunsad ng tatlong presidential at dalawang vice presidential debate na magsisimula ngayong buwan.
Samantala, ipinagtanggol naman ng Comelec ang desisyon nito na tanggalan ng e-rally time slots ang mga kandidatong hindi dadalo sa naturang debate.
“It is a way to make sure the candidates know how serious these debates are and how determined the Comelec is to make sure that the public gets to see them in all of the debate stages,” ani Jimenez sa press briefing.
“It’s something that we feel that has value and we feel should be forefeited if we feel the candidate refused to participate in the debates,” dagdag niya.
