Ayon sa pahayag ng PCADG Region 12, ang ginawa ni Manicad ay 'irresponsible use of the PNP uniform, which created a misconception of PNP being a partisan body" nitong Pebrero 21, 2022.

"We are calling on the owner of the concerned Facebook page and actor Mark Manicad to remove the post in question and to issue a proper apology," pahayag pa ng PCADG Region 12.

"The campaign photo circulating online which shows actor Mark Manicad wearing a PNP uniform is an irresponsible act of misrepresentation and a clear disregard for the integrity of the PNP uniform," ayon sa kanilang Facebook page.
