Tatlumpung araw ang ibinigay na palugit sa mga hindi pa bakunadong manggagawa sa Metro Manila upang makasakay sa mga public utility vehicles (PUVs).
Sisimulang ipatupad ngayong araw, Enero 26, ang nasabing kautusan ng pamahalaan.
Ang nasabing desisyon ay inilabas ninaDepartment of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año, at Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade bilang resulta ng kanilang pagpupulong nitong Enero 21.
Sa kanilang desisyon, binanggit ng tatlong ahensya ng pamahalaan na hindi papayagang gumamit ng pampublikong transportasyon ang mga partially unvaccinated individuals kung hindi pa rin sila nakakumpleto ng bakuna sa nasabing panahon.

Paliwanag naman ni DOTr Undersecretary Artemio Tuazon, Jr., layunin ng kanilang desisyon na maprotektahan ang mgaunvaccinated at partially vaccinated workers sa nakahahawang sakit.
"We want our workers to get fully vaccinated, especially now that there is no longer a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines, and there is a threat of highly transmissible variants of the virus. We are giving our workers the time to get themselves vaccinated,” aniya.
“As jointly decided by the DOLE, DILG, and DOTr, workers who will remain unvaccinated 30 days after the announcement are not being barred from their workplaces. They are simply not allowed to use public transportation, but can still use other means, such as active transport, private vehicles, or company shuttle services,” pagbibigay-diin pa nng opisyal.
