Binatikos ng grupo ng mga doktor at pribadong mamamayan ang nakaraang desisyon ngMetropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na limitahan ang galaw ng mga hindi bakunado laban sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Sa kanilang pahayag, inilabas ngConcerned Doctors and Citizens of the Philippines (CDC Ph) ang pagkadismaya at pagtutol sa MMDA ResolutionNo. 22-01 na higpitan ang mga 'di pa fully-vaccinated.
Binanggit ng grupo na labag ito sa Konstitusyon at "pagmamalupit" sa mga tinatawag na vulnerable sector ng lipunan.
“This resolution flat out ignores the constitutionally-protected right of every Filipino to make independent, informed decisions that massively impacts their health and the well-being of their loved ones,” ayon kay Dr. Homer Lim, pangulo ng CDC Ph.

Binira naman niMari Kaimo, vice-president ng CDC Ph, ang probisyon saMMDA resolution na nag-oobligasa mga 'di bakunado na sumailalim saReverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test kada dalawang linggo sa kanilang gastos at ipakikita ng mga ito ang negative results bago sila tanggaping makabalik ng trabaho.
“The costs of RT-PCR tests run in the thousands of pesos, and given the salary scales in the Philippines, a vast majority of unvaccinated workers cannot afford to shoulder additional expenses of this magnitude,” pahayag pa ni Kaimo.
