Inanunsyo ni Southern Police District Brig.Gen. Jimili Macaraeg ang pagkaarteso ni Jumel Sarap, 34, number 1 most wanted person ng Culasic, Antique.

Naaresto si Sarap bandang 11:20 ng gabi ng Disyembre 23 sa isang shopping mall sa Bgy. San Dionisio sa Paranaque. Isinagawa ng mga tauhan ng Poblacsion Sub-Station 6 ng Muntinlupa kasaa ang SAF 83rd Company, Culasi Municipal Police Station, at Regional Intelligence Unit 6 ang manhunt operation para dakpin si Sarap.

Inaresto ang suspek sa bisa ng warrant of arrest sa panggagahasa na walang inirerekomendang piyansa na inisyu ni Judge Montalid Patnubay Jr., acting presiding judge ng Culasi Regional Trial Court Branch 13. Inihain ang kasong panggagahasa ni Sarap noong Abril 2017.

Dinala si Sarap sa Muntinlupa Custodial Facility habang hinihintay ang paglalabas ng commitment of order mula sa court of origin.
