Nakapagtala ang Department of Health (DOH) nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 24, na 310 na bagong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.

“Of the 310 reported cases today, 272 (88 percent) occurred within the recent 14 days (Dec. 11 – Dec. 24, 2021). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were National Capital Region (NCR) (106 or 39 percent), Region 4-A (32 or 12 percent) and Region 3 (22 or 8 percent),” anang DOH.

Umabot na sa 2,838,032 ang kabuuang bilang ng kaso ng virus sa bansa simula noong nakaraang taon.

“Nine duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, eight are recoveries. In addition, 172 cases were found to have tested negative and have been removed from the total case count,” ayon sa DOH.

Gayunman, naitala ang 69 na bagong namatay at 227 na gumaling mula sa sakit.

Umakyat sa 51,050 ang death toll, habang 2,777,661 ang recoveries.

Samantala, nasa 9,321 na lamang ang aktibong kaso sa bansa.

Sa naturang bilang, 3,295 ang mild, 474, ang asymptomatic, 3,382 ang moderate condition, 1,795 ang severe, at 375 ang nasa kritikal na kundisyon.
