Tiwala si presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo na malulutas ng Supreme Court ang mga hinaing ng mga bumabatikos sa kontrobersyal na Anti-Terror Law.
Ito ang reaksyon ni Robredo kasunod na rin ng pahayag ng Public Information Office (PIO) ng Korte Suprema na kinansela ng korte ang dalawa sa mga probisyon ng batas (Republic Act 11479) na "kabilang sa kinukuwestiyon ng mga naghain ng petisyon" dahil sa pagiging iligal o labag sa Konstitusyon.
“We are hopeful that the rest of these concerns will be substantially resolved in the full decision.We remain steadfast in our position: Any Anti-Terrorism legislation must truly address the root causes of terrorism, and should not be used as a pretext to stifle freedom of expression or legitimate dissent,” ayon sa pahayag ni Robredo nitong Huwebes, Disyembre 9.
Sa botong 12-3, pinawalang-bisa ng kataas-taasang hukuman ang salitang,"which are not intended to cause death or serious physical harm to a person, to endanger a person’s life, or to create a serious risk to public safety” na nakapaloob sa Section 4 ng batas.

“The qualifier to the proviso in Section 4 of R.A. 11479 is declared as unconstitutional for being overbroad and violative of freedom of expression,” ayon sa SC.
Sa botong 9-6, idineklara rin ng Korte Suprema na labag sa Konstitusyon ang ikalawang bahagi ng Section 25 na nagsasaad ng,“request for designations by other jurisdictions or supranational jurisdictions may be adopted by the ATC (Anti-Terrorism Council) after determination that the proposed designee meets the criteria for designation of UNSCR (United Nations Security Council Resolutions) No. 1373.”
Pinapayagan ng nasabing probisyon na ideklara ng ATC ang isang grupo o tao na terorista katulad ng pagdeklara ng ibang mga bansa.
